Mechanical Fitters
Our client based in Gympie is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a site-based project. This will be a 4-6 weeks (possibly longer) assignment to help with the completion of plant installation at a mine site

• Monday – Thursday – 6.00am to 5.00pm
• Fridays – 6.00am to 4.00pm
• Accommodation provided

• $60.00 per hour flat rate 
• 11 hour days

There will also be requirements for ongoing monthly shutdown work !!!

The Role

• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Install pump sets into fabricated structures
• Pipe and tube installation
• Assemble new systems, pipe/ tube/ hose Installation of, fittings, flanges to detailed specifications provided, flushing of lines
• Assembly of pre-assembled skid units, fabricated frames, small tanks
• Document management, ITP, SWI, JSEA and material check lists

Role Requirements

• Trade qualification – Mechanical Fitter
• White card
• Full Australian Working Rights
• Working at Heights (preferred)
• EWP (preferred)

To be considered for this role you must be an either an Australian Citizen, have residential status or the right to work in Australia. (Due to the recruitment time frame required, Preference will be given to candidates living  in Brisbane).
